Ambetter is Centene Corporation’s Health Insurance Marketplace product. Centene Corporation is a large, publicly-traded healthcare company that offeres both government sponsored and privately insured healthcare programs. Centene operates health plans that serve 2.9 million members in 21 states, many of those individual health plans under the Ambetter name. Ambetter currently spans 11 states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Ohio, Texas and Washington.
